Patient flow & inbox

Every patient in the hospital on one board, timed at each step. Each person's inbox lists their next tasks, urgent ones first.

Clinical records

Vital signs with automatic NEWS2 early-warning scores, notes day by day, diagnoses by body system. Notes are saved as drafts every 30 seconds.

Wards & beds

A live bed map with prices per night, admissions, ward-round requests from nurses, and nursing, medical and surgical procedures.

Lab, radiology & physio

Requests marked routine, urgent or STAT, a worklist for each department, and results straight on the patient's chart.

Pharmacy & stock

Drugs are dispensed from stock batch by batch, never from expired stock. Reorder alerts, expiry dates and orders to the stores.

Billing & insurance

Bills built from bed nights, tests, procedures and drugs. Stamped and signed invoices, receipts and insurance claims. A patient leaves only when the bill is settled or a waiver is agreed.

Back office & payroll

Timesheets from real activity, payslips with NSSF, PAYE and LST, petty cash and salary advances approved by two people.

Reports

Clinical and financial reports with charts: patients seen, income and expenditure, money owed, stock. On headed paper or as a PDF.

Security

Only computers your administrator approves can open it. Each role sees only what it needs, and money needs two people.

It runs in your hospital

Your data stays with you

Mutima runs on a computer in your hospital. Patient records are stored there, not in someone else's cloud.

Works when the internet doesn't

Staff use it over the hospital Wi-Fi and network. An internet cut does not stop the wards, the lab or the pharmacy.

Safe to open from anywhere

A secure address such as yourhospital.mutima.app, or your own, like hmis.yourhospital.org. Only approved devices get in.

  3. Train and go live

    Each department learns the screens it uses. Then the first patient is registered.
